   Controls

Output Format -- Choose whether you want motion files created in 5.x or 6.x format.

Keyframe Increment -- Set spacing of keyframes created

FPS (Frames Per Second) -- The L[6] motion format specifies the time at which the key exists. Set this field to match your target scene's Frames Per Second setting. (Lightwave 6.x only)

Motion File Name -- Use this control to navigate to the desired folder and enter your Motion File name.

   Installation

Extract the files into your Modeler LScripts folder.

   Usage

1) Create a path or just some points representing a path in a foreground layer.

2) If you select some points, the path will be created using only those points in the order that they were selected. If you don't select any points, the path will be created using all points in the foreground layer in the order that they were created.

3) Run the script by invoking the modeler LScript plugin, typically

Objects > Custom > LScript    (in LW 5.x)

or

Objects > Additonal > LW_Lscript   (in LW 6.x)

and then navigate to the file crv2mot.ls.

The first time you run the script, it will probably not find the file "crv2mot.tga" . You will be provided with a file dialog box to navigate to the file. This should be the only time you have to do this. In subsequent sessions the file should be found automatically (unless you have moved it for some reason).

4) In Layout, with your object selected, load the motion file as follows:

LW 5.x :    In the Graph Editor, select "Load Motion"

L[6] :    In any viewport, <SHIFT>  <CTRL >   LMB   > Motions > Load Motion File...

*NOTE: A common mistake in L[6] is to try to load a motion file in the Graph Editor. If you do that, only the first channel will be loaded!

   Version history

1.0 -- Crv2mot now 'remembers' the last requester settings and defaults to them at the next invocation of the script.

0.7 -- Initial release
